Gran'Bette and I are looking forward to celebarting with you. Can't think of a nicer couple. All our best and blessings for a great future.
I'm ecstatic for Natalie and Matt. As the mother of the bride I couldn't be more pleased with whom Natalie is going to be sharing her life; couldn't ask for a better match! Yikes, I'm going to be a mother-in-law, that's a first. Looking forward to sharing the special day with Natalie and Matt...... Love you both, Barb
Cheers to a perfect match! Looking forward to celebrating you two. xoxo
So happy for you guys! Can't wait to celebrate this special day with y'all.
For those that will be traveling to Fort Worth from out of state, our wedding reception will be at Reata Restaurant in downtown Fort Worth. The address is: 310 Houston St, Fort Worth, TX 76102. PLEASE NOTE: If you will be driving to the venue there will be free valet parking right outside of the front door, just be sure to get your ticket validated at the front desk of the restaurant.
There are two airport options. Both airports have rental car options once you land, but we definitely recommend securing a car rental reservation beforehand if you want to go that route. You can also grab a Lyft, Uber or taxi from the airport to the venue/your hotel if you plan on just walking in the downtown area during your stay in Fort Worth.
When it comes to lodging, there are many hotel options downtown. Because of the numerous options, we have not done a room block for the venue. Here are just four hotel options that are very close to the venue:
Matt and Natalie have decided to get married at the courthouse prior to October 7th. Due to this there will be no ceremony, just a reception.
***Please note that our reception will be adults only. Please be sure to RSVP (invitee + 1 guest) as we will not be sending invite cards to be returned to us. All RSVPs will be handled via this wedsite. When it comes to couples, your significant other will be on the second card when you search for your name during the RSVP process. Please be sure to add your email address and physical address. Thank you!
Matt and Natalie had always discussed a future together and because of this open dialogue Matt had mentioned engagement to Natalie by fall of 2016. He asked Natalie if she was open to the idea of ring shopping together and Natalie was excited about that opportunity! The two went shopping in Dallas and Natalie picked out her favorite band. With the ring secured, Matt discussed a proposal with his brother and sister in law. On September 18, 2016 on their favorite hiking trail, Matt got down on one knee and proposed to Natalie while his brother and wife were kind enough to document the perfect moment!
The first time Matt and Natalie met is when Natalie visited the United Capital Dallas office in December, when she was making a trip to a city she had never traveled to before yet was considering moving to permenantly! The office manager recommended that Natalie ask Matt for living recommendations. Once Natalie moved to Dallas in March of 2014, they started hanging out outside of work with other younger coworkers. There was always an attraction to one another and a friendship, but there was a little hestitation on whether something more could develop considering they worked together. Matt decided to take a chance and made plans for the two of them to go to a Rangers game in July of the same year. That baseball game opened to the door to more dates and within a month they were in a relationship! Just a little over a year later Natalie moved into the apartment where Matt lived. Almost a year after moving in together, Matt proposed to Natalie!
Matt and Natalie love to travel. They try to go on a trip either somewhat local or across the country once a month. They also enjoy going to the pool during the summer and spending time with their favorite fur companion, their cat Bruno.
Matthew was born in Dallas, Texas. When he was young his family moved to Lubbock, Texas and that is where he was raised. He attended Texas Tech University which is also in Lubbock. Due to his degree in Personal Financial Planning and his MBA, he was recruited to United Capital in 2012. It was also in 2012 that he moved to Dallas to work in the Dallas United Capital branch. At this point he was unaware that his future wife would step into the office just 2 years later!
Natalie grew up in California. She was born in San Diego and then moved to the Orange Country area when she started attending University of California, Irvine. After she was done with college she stayed in Orange County for another 8 years, working at United Capital. It wasn't until March of 2014 that she made her fateful move to Dallas, Texas. She made the big move knowing that she at least had the same company that she loved to fall back on. It was none other than United Capital where she met Matt! When she arrived in Dallas, she settled into her uptown apartment quite nicely. She was only single for about 4 months before Matt took her off the dating market.
